Other Openings

OK, I filled my open analyst job, but we still have other Category Management openings here at Bayer. Specifically, we have jobs available in Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Bentonville for Category Managers directed at accounts. Job Opening for Analyst

I am currently seeking an analyst to work for me in the Category and Shopper Solutions group at Bayer Consumer Care Global HQ in Morristown, NJ. Ideally this person has at least a Bachelor’s and 3 years of experience in the CPG industry, with very strong analytical skills. Customer Sales Analyst - Position Description

Provide perspective and recommendations for inclusion in customer strategies and tactics by analyzing and evaluating factors that affect the 4 sales controllables (Distribution, Pricing, Shelving, and Promotion), in order to achieve sales objectives.
Provides analytical insight into the decision making processes, adding perspective and value to business planning.
Populate, gather, organize and distribute reports in an accurate and timely manner.Know where to find data and understand how to utilize respective resources.
Provide timely and accurate data analysis for promotion evaluation, execution, planning and development of customer/Bayer sales.
Identify business opportunities and provide recommendations as they relate to the Sales Controllables by analyzing past customer performances.
Involvement with Category Management initiatives.
Own and maintain standard reporting.

Tactical day-to-day planning: Evaluate and make recommendations on customer opportunities that ensure compliance with brand objectives and profitability hurdles.
Filter large amounts of information that is gathered in day-to-day activities.
Process and communicate pertinent information that is actionable and necessary in facilitating business opportunities and growth.
Break traditional patterns of thought.
Generate and recognize imaginative, workable solutions to problems and situations.

Knowledge ordinarily acquired from a BS/BA degree plus 3+ years business/analytical experience, preferably within the CPG/retail industry. This experience should include financial analysis and understanding of the various analytical resources (i.e., syndicated data, customer movement, sales tracking reports, etc.) This experience must have produced competency in communication, specifically written, strong functional/technical skills, and the ability to manage a multi-project based workload.
The incumbent is one who drives for results, is customer focused, has demonstrated planning skills, and is able to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience desired in the application of marketing research information (IRI, Nielsen, and Custom) as related to 4 sales controllables.
Advanced computer skills are required.

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN MORRISTOWN GLOBAL HEADQUARTERS
